What is Carrom?

 

Carrom is a simple but very interesting game. It originated from the pool billiards in South Asia. The game requires intelligence, logic and talent.

Carrom can be played by two (in singles) or by four persons (in doubles).

Carrom is played by millions of people in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Maldives. It is also attracting people in other countries of the world, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, Emirate, Nepal and U.S.A.

Carrom is being played in Europe in organised form for about 20 years. There are national Carrom Federations in France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal.
